An evening of QIPOC Films

  • B13 613 Dundas Street London, ON, N5W 2Z1 Canada (map)

In celebration of the QIPOC community, House of Anansi & Queer Events presents An Evening of QIPOC films.

Join us for an evening at B13 as we gather to watch films that represent our diverse LGBT2Q+ community, specifically Queer Indigenous and Queer Black Lives.

To kick off the evening we will be watching selected short films that focus on the Queer Indigenous community and experiences. Followed by our main feature - KIKI (2016).

About Kiki
Part activist movement, part artistic milieu, the Kiki community is a site of radical self-expression for young queer people of colour in New York City, whose ballroom competitions and surrogate queer families provide both creative platforms and a source of succour for individuals facing multiple forms of marginalisation.

Admission is $10 or PWYC. Registration for this event is required due to limited seating.

Proceeds from this event will go towards funding for QIPOC initiatives and we will be collecting donations for the Wet'suwet'en fund.
